DIY Paste to soothe red itchy rashes

DIY Paste to soothe red itchy rashes

Ah, the dreaded tick and flea season - a time that sends shivers down the spines of us pet parents worldwide. It's not just about the threat of tick and flea-borne illnesses; it's the incessant itching, the allergic reactions, and those dreaded red rashes that follow. Seeing our furry companions uncomfortable is heartbreaking and endlessly frustrating.

And when the only solutions available are laden with chemicals that often fall short of providing relief, it can feel like an endless battle. But as always, nature has blessed us with some powerful remedies, waiting to be harnessed.

Today, I'm sharing with you a time tested, homemade DIY paste. A gentle, natural remedy to soothe your pet's inflamed skin. This magic concoction doesn't just tackle inflammation; it's a multitasker, addressing pesky issues like dandruff and lacklustre coats.

So, if you're seeking solace for your pet's discomfort and looking to embrace a more natural approach, join me in exploring this simple yet effective remedy. After all, our beloved companions deserve nothing but the best.

Step 1:
Oatmeal!
Such a powerful ingredient to soothe inflamed skin. Grind oats into a smooth powder. Take 1 cup oatmeal.

Step 2: AloeVera Gel
Take 2 spoons full of aloe vera gel. Natural fresh gel is the best but if you do not have it available, lets use natural store bought gel.

Step 3: Curd/Yogurt
Take 1 Cup (equal to oatmeal) of curd. Its excellent for cooling the skin as well address issues like dandruff & flakey skin.

Step 4: Vitamin E
Add upto 4 to 5ml vitamin oil to this. Vitamin E is nourishing & great for healing skin breakouts and repairing skin conditions. If you have capsules, cut them open and pour the oil

Step 5: Good Mama Itch Relief Oil
Add 2 spoons of itch relief oil. This is a herbal blend of powerful ingredients that very quickly help relieve itching as well as kill any egg infestations of ticks and fleas. You can get it here

Blend it all together into a smooth applicable paste. Now apply it over your pet's rashes and inflamed skin. You can also use this paste without rashes, it is great for enhancing skin & coat health.

Leave it on for at least 30 mins or more.

Rinse well with a mild shampoo and you will visibly see your pets rashes would have improved along with reduced itch.

Do try, it works every time. Your pet will hate you for the hair mask but love you back once they feel better :)

Love,
Good Mama <3
