A gentle, nourishing recipe for days when your pet’s body needs warmth, hydration, and strength to bounce back. This bowl combines soft-cooked fish, healing herbs, and colourful vegetables in a light broth — designed to soothe inflammation, rebuild energy, and support the gut.
Ingredients
Protein

White fish (rohu, basa, tilapia, or pomfret) – 150–200 g
(light, easily digestible, rich in amino acids for tissue repair) - add 15g organ meat
Veggies

Sweet potato – ¼ cup (steamed, soft)

Carrot – ¼ cup (steamed)

Spinach – a small handful (lightly steamed or blanched)
Healing herb paste

Fresh turmeric root – small piece (or ¼ tsp powder)

Ginger – small piece

Cinnamon – a pinch

aFresh coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
Grind into a smooth paste with a little water.
Broth

Light bone or veggie broth – ½–1 cup (lukewarm, unsalted)
Preparation

Marinate the fish in the herb paste for 10 minutes.

Steam the fish along with the vegetables until soft and fragrant.
